Description
Implementing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) v5
What about this course?
Implementing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) v5 is designed to equip participants with extensive knowledge and hands-on skills in designing, deploying, and managing ACI, Cisco’s cutting-edge Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solution for Data Centers. This course uses a hands-on approach to delve deep into the core design and implementation details of Cisco ACI, focusing on how it uses centralized management, automation, and a policy-driven application networking approach, as opposed to traditional Ethernet Switches & IP Routers that are controlled individually through a Command-Line Interface (CLI).
This course starts from the ground up with ACI System Initialization and Fabric Discovery & Management, then walks you through the ACI object model used in Fabric Policies & Tenant Policies. Core ACI features such as traffic filtering with Endpoint Groups (EPGs), migration of existing L2 networks into ACI, Layer 3 external routing, virtual machine integration, and seamless incorporation of firewalls and load balancers are covered both from a design point of view, and through hands-on implementation examples.
New features in ACI v5.x are highlighted, such as Endpoint Security Groups (ESGs), as well as new enhancements for scaling fabrics in both ACI Multi-Pod & ACI Multi-Site designs, all with hands-on examples including using the Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator (NDO) to manage ACI Multi-Site.
With the main focus on the practical application of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), as well as a blend of detailed behind-the-scenes concepts, this course will empower you to harness the full potential of Cisco ACI for optimizing data center networking operations.
